Undergraduate Course leading to B.Tech Degree:-

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is the 4-year full-time undergraduate course in engineering. This course can be done with one of the engineering discipline. Prerequisites for pursuing B.Tech is 10+2 passed with PCM group from the recognized educational board.

Postgraduate Course leading to M.Tech Degree:-

Postgraduate course in engineering resulting in the award of a Master of Engineering (M.E.) or Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree . It is a 2-years course that one can pursue after completing a 4-year undergraduate program in engineering (B.Tech).

Doctoral Course in Engineering:-

Doctoral of Philosophy in Engineering (Ph.D) is the advanced research course in engineering that has the duration of 3 years. Course duration varies from college to college. Students admitted to the Ph.D. program should have a master degree in respective discipline.

Biotechnology Engineering:-

Biotechnology engineering is the study, research and development of bio-organism, micro-organism and cell functions in living beings. The course combines engineering with other subjects like chemistry, genetics, bio-chemistry and microbiology. The minimum eligibility criterion which most of the institutes ask for is a score of at least 50% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at 10+2 or equivalent level.

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E):-

The minimum qualification needed by one to opt for this program is a pass in class 10+2. They will then have to attend for the national or state level entrance exam as to get admittance into any college that offers this course. The B.E. program concentrates more on the theoretical knowledge that is applied to develop innovative equipment and useful technical gadgets in Science and Technology. This program is pursued by many and the degree thus obtained can be of use anywhere. As mentioned earlier, the program has a time period of 4 years. Students must do a project in their concluding year.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech):-

The Bachelor of Technology is a graduate level program that is offered by the majority of universities all over the world. To join this course, aspirants must attend the state level or national level Engineering Entrance Exam. They will be given admittance on the basis of their scores obtained in the admission test. Aerospace Engineering:-

Aerospace is a specialized branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - aeronautical and astronautical engineering. The course also focuses on new technologies in aviation, defense systems, and space exploration. The course is offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels awarding B.Tech and M.Tech degrees.

Computer Science Engineering:-

Petroleum Engineering:-

Petroleum Engineering is a branch of science which deals with the study of extraction of crude oil and natural gas present on the deposits found below the surface of Earth. Almost every marketing and production industry need skilled people who can read the need of the customer and design products accordingly to deliver them cost effective, useful products. Industry, design or architectural studios also look for graduates from this stream. One can pursue M.Tech in Industrial design after successful completion of BE/B.Tech.

Computer engineering:-

Computer engineers work with hardware and software, ensuring that the two are seamlessly integrated and functioning properly. Computer engineers focus on innovation—making computing systems safer, faster and more powerful. At the career level, there are two main avenues: hardware and software engineering. Hardware engineers focus their skills on computer systems and components, designing microprocessors, circuit boards, routers and other embedded devices. On the software side, these engineers create, test and debug programs and applications that run on computers, mobile devices and more.

Electrical and Communications Engineering:-

Electrical and Communications is a discipline within electrical engineering. The course involves study of application of mathematical and scientific principles to design and integrate electrical and electronics systems. The course also includes the study of mechanism involved in generation of electrical power. Students also learn about development and operation of communication technology. The course includes telecommunication and computer programming apart from core subjects like electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering, laser and optical engineering and integrated circuit design. Typically, a program in this discipline will include concepts from physics, chemistry, and biology as well as civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering. Apart from this, students will also learn about impact assessment, environmental management, and audit. However, most modules will be geared towards developing a comprehensive understanding of different forms of pollution, managing environmental resources and controlling waste. One can pursue M.Tech in Environmental Engineering after successful completion of BE/B.Tech.

Marine engineering:-

Marine engineering includes the engineering of boats, ships, oil rigs and any other marine vessel or structure, as well as oceanographic or ocean engineering. Specifically, marine engineering is the discipline of applying engineering sciences, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer science, to the development, design, operation and maintenance of watercraft propulsion and on-board systems and oceanographic technology. It includes but is not limited to power and propulsion plants, machinery, piping, automation and control systems for marine vehicles of any kind, such as surface ships and submarines.
